What is a Lifelong Learner?
You may enroll at CSU-Global as a Lifelong Learner (which is considered "Non-Degree seeking") and take classes for personal or professional enrichment rather than for degree-seeking purposes. As a Non-Degree seeking student, you are not required to submit official transcripts, and you cannot use financial aid to cover the cost of your classes. Lifelong Learner students will be asked to complete the Lifelong Learner Acknowledgement Form prior to starting classes.
If you change your mind in the future and decide that you'd like to become degree seeking, you may apply for full admission at CSU-Global. Keep in mind that admission requirements must be met to fully enroll.
Please Note: No more than 15 undergraduate credits or 12 graduate credits earned in a Non-Degree seeking status may be applied toward degree requirements. Also, all courses taken at CSU-Global will be used to calculate your GPA, whether you were degree-seeking or non-degree seeking when taking classes.
