What is SHRM?

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest HR membership organization devoted to human resource management. SHRM is the leading provider of resources that serve the needs of HR professionals and advance the practice of human resource management. SHRM has more than 285,000 members in over 160 countries. Students interested in HR will benefit from being aligned with SHRM by having access to HR specific resources and networking opportunities.

There are multiple levels of SHRM to get involved with. Students can become members at the national level for a low student membership rate of $40 per year. There are also local chapters across the nation where students can be involves. We even have a Virtual Student Chapter here at CSU-Global. There is no fee for membership for our Virtual Student Chapter.
