Finding Scholarships
CSU Global offers several scholarship options every trimester. You may be eligible to apply for more than one CSU Global scholarship and you are welcome to apply every time scholarships become available. You can find a list of CSU Global scholarships, application instructions, and deadlines on our website. Please keep in mind, scholarship opportunities may change year-to-year.
There are many other scholarships for college students outside of CSU-Global and we encourage you to seek them out. Here are some scholarship resources that might help with your search:
Applying for Scholarships
To apply for CSU Global scholarships, visit our ScholarshipUniverse page. You may also access the scholarship page from your Student Portal by clicking on "My Account and Financial Aid" > "Scholarships. From here, you may review requirements and awards for each scholarship offered by clicking on the various scholarship links on the left side of the page.
If this is your first time logging in to ScholarshipUniverse, you will be asked a series of questions to help set up your profile. Setting up your profile will help ScholarshipUniverse match you with potential scholarships you may qualify for. All CSU Global scholarship applications as well as many external scholarship applications can be completed through ScholarshipUniverse.

Scholarship Deadlines
The deadline for CSU Global scholarships generally falls two weeks before the beginning of a trimester, which is marked by the start of the A term. For example, the deadline for the Fall 2023 scholarships is July 2nd, 2023; the Fall A 2023 term begins on July 17th, 2023. Deadlines will always be listed within the scholarship in ScholarshipUniverse as well.
Scholarship Schedules & Disbursements
CSU Global Scholarships will apply to your account on the estimated financial aid disbursement date for your eligible term or terms. This date may be found in your Student Portal by looking at your funds under "Financial Aid" or by looking at the Academic Calendar on our website.
Any scholarship funding awarded will be paid towards the first eligible credits you attend within your awarded trimester. Scholarship funding cannot be rolled over into a new trimester, it must be used in the trimester that it is awarded.
Impact of Withdrawing on Scholarships
Students may withdraw from a course for which they have received scholarship funding from CSU Global. Students are not responsible for reimbursing CSU Global for the cost of the scholarship funding received, however any additional scheduled funding will not be received and will instead by canceled on the student's account. The used funding cannot be applied to a new course.
If receiving a scholarship from an outside organization, students are responsible for contacting a representative from that organization directly to learn the impact of withdrawing on their scholarship.
Scholarship Impact on Cost of Attendance (COA)
Scholarship values count towards your overall Cost of Attendance . If a student has received funding up to their COA, these funds will be reduced by the value of the scholarship received in that academic year. This reduces the amount of additional federal funding you are eligible to receive as federal regulations prevent students from receiving aid greater than their COA.
