Why don’t I have Pell Grant in Spring?

Why is my Pell Grant different in the Spring?

As of July 1, 2017, the Department of Education adjusted the amount of Pell grant that you can receive in a FAFSA year (July 1 - June 30), allowing you to receive additional Pell funds even if you have already received 100% of your award. In order to utilize those additional funds you must reach half time status (6 credit hours) in the trimester. If you currently take 1 course (3 credits) per term, then you will be eligible for additional Pell grant once you reach 6 credits in the term.

Please reach out to your student advisor with additional questions about receiving Pell in the Spring
