Do I qualify for Financial Aid?

In order to qualify for Federal Financial Aid (federal loans and grants), a student must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a valid FAFSA on file (www.studentaid.gov/apply-for-aid/fafsa)
  • Be enrolled in a degree program or eligible certificate program (Non-degree seeking students are not eligible)
  • Be a U.S citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • Registered for selective service if required
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • In good academic standing and making good academic progress
  • Enrolled at least half time (6 credits per trimester for undergraduates, 3 credits per trimester for graduate students)
  • Cannot be in default on prior student loans
