What is NSLDS?

The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) is the U.S. Department of Education's central database for student aid.

NSLDS Student Access provides a centralized, integrated view of Federal Financial Aid (FA) so that recipients of FA can access and inquire about their loans and/or grant data. NSLDS receives data from schools, guaranty agencies, the Direct Loan program, and other Department of Education programs.

It is important that you understand where you stand with your current borrowing. Please visit www.nslds.ed.gov and log in using your FSA ID to review your current student loan/grant history. This will help you manage your borrowing and keep you informed.
