How do I prove that I'm a Colorado Resident?
To prove that you are a Colorado Resident, you will need to provide a copy of a document from each of the following categories:
Proof of Domicile
Proof of domicile may be established by providing one of the following documents (Note: dates must demonstrate domicile beginning 12 months before first day of classes).
- Lease Contract
- Mortgage Contract
- Property Deed
- Utility Bill
- Bank Statement with address
Intent to Remain
Intent to remain in Colorado may be established by providing one of the following documents:
- Colorado State ID or Driver’s License
- Motor Vehicle Record
- Voter Registration
- Employment Letter
- Income Tax Returns
These documents should be uploaded into your Student Portal under My Documents in the appropriate "Proof of Domicile" or "Intent to Remain" placeholder. If you need assistance, contact your Student Finance Advisor for help uploading.
