Passing Grade Requirements for Federal TA
Below is a breakdown of the grades required by your Military Branch in order for the course to be considered passing. Please keep in mind that CSU-Global passing grades may differ. For more information about CSU-Global grade requirements, please see the following article: What is the Grading Scale?
**Note: Passing grade requirements are subject to change. This information is accurate as of October, 2017:
Branch | “Passing” Grade Requirement | Pay for Retake? |
Air Force | Undergraduate: C or better Graduate: B or better | The Air Force will pay for one retake as long as you have repaid your debt for the non-passed course |
Army | Undergraduate: C or better; maintain Cum. GPA of 2.0+ Graduate: B or better; maintain Cum. GPA of 3.0+ | The Army will pay for one retake as long as you have repaid your debt for the non-passed course |
Navy | Undergraduate: C or better Graduate: B or better | No |
Marines | Undergraduate: D or better Graduate: C or better | No |
Coast Guard | Undergraduate: D or better; maintain Cum. GPA 2.0 Graduate: C or better; maintain Cum. GPA of 3.0+ | No |
