Provisional Requirements

Starting in the Spring C 2020 term, in order to meet provisional admission requirements, students must meet the following stipulations:

Undergraduate

To be eligible for full admission, provisionally admitted undergraduate students are required to:

  • Complete coursework in two consecutive trimesters
  • Complete six (6) credit hours in each of the first and second trimesters
  • Earn and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher in at the end of each trimester
  • Earn an institutional course completion rate of 66.66% or higher in each trimester

Graduate

To be eligible for full admission, provisionally admitted graduate students are required to:

  • Complete coursework in two consecutive trimesters
  • Complete three (3) credit hours in each of the first and second trimesters
  • Earn and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher in at the end of each trimester
  • Earn an institutional course completion rate of 66.66% or higher in each trimester

Provisional reviews will run at the end of your first trimester. If you are not meeting the standards above, you are withdrawn. Provisional reviews will run again at the end of your second trimester, and if you are not meeting the standards above, you are withdrawn. This means that you have to meet the standards listed above in BOTH trimesters in order to be fully admitted.
