At CSU Global we use Zoom for video conferences. You may use Zoom to meet with an instructor, career coach, librarian, or your student success counselor. If you need any assistance using Zoom, you can find an instructional video under the “How To Videos” link in the library. This video will show you how to use the microphone, camera, share your screen, and use the chat feature.
If you are sent a meeting invitation with a Zoom link, simply click on the link to join. If you don't have Zoom installed on your computer or can’t download it, you can click "Join from Your Browser" to get into the meeting.
You can also connect to Zoom from the left navigation column in Canvas. Some courses will have the option to attend a live session. To do so, click on Zoom in the left navigation column and then click on the upcoming meetings tab. There will be a list of course meeting sessions available. Check the box next to the one you want and then click the "next" button.
Your instructor will post a link to recorded live sessions after they are complete so that you can access them at any time so don't worry if you miss the actual live session!
