Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Exam Guide

Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Cut Scores

Please speak with your enrollment counselor or student advisor to understand degree applicability. Certain restrictions or additional requirements may apply.  Credit earned 10 or more years prior to the date of admission cannot be applied towards major or specialization requirements. To ensure student success, the general education areas of written communication and math may not always be fulfilled with credit earned 10 or more years prior to the date of admission; students may be required to take current written communication and/or math course.

This guide outlines State of Colorado minimum accepted scores (cut scores) for transfer credit into Colorado Public Institutions. Students should use this list in conjunction with their individual degree plan to determine which CSU-Global course or exam from the Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exam can be used to meet specific degree requirements. Each student's individual degree plan outlines their specific requirements and transfer needs. Credit earned in any category can be used for elective credit if the degree requirement has already been met. Students cannot earn credit more than once for the same course. Credits may be reduced or denied in transfer in accordance with transfer credit policy and practices.

These credits and accepted transfer requirements are subject to change at any time without notice, and these requirements apply to new students entering CSU-Global on the effective date of this guide.
