The AV-Disbursement Hold is added to financial aid student's accounts automatically when they fail to post in a course during the first week of a term.
To have this hold removed, you will need to make the first post in a course before the drop date (first seven days of the term). The hold will be removed within 24 hours of making that post. See What is the attendance policy? to learn more.
**Please Note: If you turned in course work during the "open house" period (the weekend before the official course start date), your attendance was not counted. Students must submit work after the official course start date to have the hold removed and remain in the course.
