Why didn't my math credit transfer?

Typically, there are two reasons math credits from a previous institution don’t transfer:

  1. The previous math course was taken 10 or more years ago
  2. The previous math course was remedial, developmental, or preparatory (i.e not true college-level)

In these cases, your math credits will not transfer in to fulfill your math general education requirement, though it may still transfer in as elective credit.  Please see the Transfer Credit Policies listed in the Academic Catalog for additional information. Be sure to reach out to your student advisor if you have any questions about your transfer credits.
