In order to qualify for Federal Financial Aid (federal loans and grants), a student must meet the following requirements:
- Have a valid FAFSA on file (www.studentaid.gov/apply-for-aid/fafsa)
- Be enrolled in a degree program or eligible certificate program (Non-degree seeking students are not eligible)
- Be a U.S citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Registered for selective service if required
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- In good academic standing and making good academic progress
- Enrolled at least half time (6 credits per trimester for undergraduates, 3 credits per trimester for graduate students)
- Cannot be in default on prior student loans
