Career Coaching Appointment FAQs
How do I find a Career Coach?
- Login to Global Connect - https://csuglobal-csm.symplicity.com/
- Select “Career Coaching” from the top right toolbar
- Select “Request New Appointment”
- Recommend to review the banner on the homepage or hover over the Career Coaches’ name so you can review their profile & areas of specialization
User Profile FAQs:

How do I update my profile information?
- Login to Global Connect - https://csuglobal-csm.symplicity.com/
- Select Your “Initials" or Your “Profile Photo” in the top right
- From the dropdown select “Public Profile”
- You can “Share Profile” which will allow employers to see your profile when you apply to their jobs. When your profile is shared, employers can find your profile for targeted outreach for jobs.
- Additionally, you can also “Hide Profile” if you don’t want your profile to be visible to employers.
Job Search FAQs:

How do I find jobs on Global Connect?
- Select “Jobs” from the top right toolbar
- Either search by typing in a “Keyword” such as Program Manager, IT, or Healthcare, or utilize the filters to search by position type, industry, job function, location and more
Career Resource Library FAQs:
- How do I access the Career Guides and Articles?
- Login to Global Connect - https://csuglobal-csm.symplicity.com/
- Select “Resources” from the top right toolbar
- Select “Resource Library” from the options
- Use “Category" to find resources by topic such as “Resume Cover Letters & References, Exploring Majors and Careers, and Applying and Interviewing, and more”
