FAQs

Q: How do I complete my readings in uCertify?

A: Your readings will be found in "Interactive Lessons". The required Interactive Lesson or required readings that you need to compelte will be listed in the Module Overview in Canvas.

Q: How do I compelte my midterm and final exams in uCertify?

A: Not all courses that use uCertify require a midterm and/or final exam. If your course does require an exam in uCertify, it is important that you access the exam through the Canvas assignment page (not through your uCertify Dashboard).

Q: Why won't my grade from uCertify show up in the Gradebook in Canvas?

A: For your grade to automatically transfer to the Gradebook in Canvas, you need to start the assignment from inside Canvas rather than the "uCertify Access" link and uCertify dashboard. Think of the assignment link in Canvas like a secure bridge. When you click it, Canvas creates a connection to uCertify so uCertify knows where to send your final score. If you go straight to uCertify, Canvas has no way of knowing you finished the work.

How to fix it: Go back to Canvas, click the link for that specific assignment, and open it from there. This will connect the two systems and pull your grade into the Canvas Gradebook.
